TasPride Online
15 July 2010
TasPride has been channeling the geek and the online socialite within, launching head first into the world of Facebook pages and Twitter accounts. So far the channeling has proved pretty popular. In just two months the TasPride page has gathered over 500 fans. Those who joined the page before the Queens Ball would have seen the entertaining Top 20 Space Vids countdown hosted by the hilarious Miz Ima Starr and Virginia Hamm.
The TasPride Facebook page is the quickest way for us to get information to you. With so many people using Facebook, it is a very important means of communication and can be a lot of fun. In the coming weeks we will start to share all kinds of stories and information about GLBTIQ related news and events. We encourage you to come and share your news here too. This page is for the community to share.
If you have already joined the page and have ideas about what you’d like to see there, please let us know. You can just write it on the wall. Let us know what you are enjoying as well, so we can do more of it.
The TasPride Facebook page can be found at www.facebook.com/TasPride and the TasPride Twitter feed can be found at www.twitter.com/TasPride
Look us up and join in on the fun while we keep you in the loop.
