We are about to embark on our 6th edition, and are super excited to do a Saturday night event back at the queer friendly and always inclusive, Welcome Swallow Brewery.

New NorFunk is a triennial queer inclusive variety show, featuring Tasmanian drag, comedy, burlesque, & pole performances. The event brings queer and allied performers to the Derwent Valley and attracts a mixed audience of locals and folks from Hobart & surrounds.

Over its last five iterations has successfully created a LGBTIQ+ inclusive environment where queer culture is celebrated and destigmatised and everyone over 18 is welcome.

RAINBOW BUS (Sky Bus)

We are excited to introduce the Kinetic Rainbow Bus

as a transport option for folks from Hobart & Glenorchy

to New Norfolk and back.

TasPride have partnered with Kinetic so we can offer you

this transport option at only $20 return.

There will be onboard entertainment by your host

Leelyn Double Chin.

The two pick up points are from

Hobart at 3:15pm from “Working It Out”

- 278 Argyle Street Hobart“

Glenorchy at 3:30pm On Brooker Hwy,

Bus stop OPPOSITE “My State Arena”

(can be accessed safely via Fleming St)

Departs Welcome Swallow 10pm

arriving back to My State Arena apron 10:25

Working It Out at 10:35 ish

Seats on the bus are limited so book ASAP.

The bus and venue are wheel chair accessible.

FOOD & DRINKS
At the Welcome Swallow you can enjoy Derwent Valley Beer, Wine, Ginger Beer & Cider with a tasty food from the food truck. Gluten free, dairy free and vegetarian options are available.
